James Bryan Anderson
Jim Anderson, 72, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday April 14, 2009.
He was born April 30, 1936 in Athens, WV. Jim was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed remodeling projects and working in his yard. He stood steadfastly by his wife and daughter, Kathy, during her many physical challenges. He always showed extraordinary commitment to his entire family.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Bryan and Mabel Anderson, of Princeton, WV.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Barbara Carter Anderson; two daughters, Kathy Anderson, Debbie Schiavone and husband Robert; two grandchildren, Kelsie and Reed Schiavone; sister, Judy Hash; nephew, J.B. Hash; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Kingsport Salvation Army, 505 Dale Street, Kingsport, TN 37660.
