James Bragg

James Bragg, of Beech Creek, died Saturday, February 2, 2019. He retired from TEC after several years of service. James farmed all of his life until his health prevented it. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Pauline Bragg; two daughters, Deborah Bragg and Donna Bragg-Evans.

James is survived by his daughter, Kathy Baker; son, Timothy Bragg and wife Robin; two grandchildren, Cory Moore and Jackie Baker; one great-grandchild, Fox Moore; brother, Gene Bragg and Nellie; and three nieces, April, Carol, and Joy.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow with Rev. Keith Williams officiating.

Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
