James H. Brumley

James H. Brumley, 87, Fall Branch, TN went to be with the Lord on Thursday (Sept. 19, 2019) at his home.  He was a lifelong resident of Fall Branch and a veteran of the U.S. Army.  James retired from the Kingsport Press. He attended the First Baptist Church of Fall Branch.

His parents, two sisters, and two brothers preceded him in death.

Surviving are his daughter, Kathy Brumley and husband G.H. Hood; three sisters, Mildred Bruner, Jean Pinson and husband Troy, and Helen Hammonds; one brother Jerry Brumley and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday (Sept. 23, 2019) from 2-4:00 p.m. at the Fall Branch Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes.

Services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Shawn Cutshall officiating.

Burial will follow the service at First Baptist Church Cemetery of Fall Branch.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to send a special thanks to a special caregiver, Patty Dougherty, Avalon Hospice (nurse Vera), and special friend, Wilma Bellamy for the loving care that they gave to James.
