James D. Cole, 68, Kingsport, died at 9:15 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2007 at his home.
He lived in Kingsport practically all of his life and worked for many years as a truck driver for Brick Delivery. Jim was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3141 and the Moose Lodge.
He was a Baptist.
His parents, Robert and Nannie Cole; a brother, William E. "Buddy" Cole; and son, David Mitchell Cole preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Carma Brown Cole; four sons, Darrell Lynn Cole, Robbie G. Cole, Vincent Scott Cole, and Jeffery Lynn Cole, all of Kingsport; three grandchildren which includes his special princess, Madelyn Rose; and several nephews.
Calling hours are from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Services will follow at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Richard K. Dice officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at Church Hill Memory Gardens.
