James E. "Jim" Fannon, 63, of Kingsport, passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 30, 2009, with his loving wife of 26 years by his side.
Jim lived in California for 20 years. There he worked at 20th Century and MGM recording studios. Upon his return to Kingsport, he worked for Terminix. Jim will be remembered as the man who could always make you laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Trish "Tommie" Fannon; son, Joe Fannon Morgan of Peril, IL; mother, Mary Bell of Church Hill; brother, Robert Bell of Rogersville; several aunts, nephews and nieces; and his dog, "Banjo".
Jim was preceded in death by his son, Troy Fannon Morgan; grandparents, Rev. Harry Fannon and Florence Fannon; brother, Richard Bell; and step-father, R.F. Bell.
The family will receive friends anytime at the home and also at his mother's home. A private memorial service will be held at the home.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Geraldine Vicars Estep, Frank Estep and Wellmont Hospice nurses; Misty and Josie, for all their help and support.
