Jana M. (Wood) Rollins

 Ephesians 4:32

Be ye kind, one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another,

 even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Jana M. (Wood) Rollins, 44, of Chuckey, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Holston Valley Medical Center.  Born in Thomasville, NC on February 10, 1978, a daughter of the late Richard Wood and mother, Sheila Loyd, she had resided in TN from the age of 6 years old.  She graduated from Daniel Boone High School.

She will be remembered as a very loving mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and relative as well as, a very special & dear, sister-in-law.  Jana loved spending time with her family and special friends. Jana greatly enjoyed helping others, but her #1, most prized time, was spending time with her 4 grandchildren (who were the absolute light, of her life)!!

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Damon Depew and all of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, as well as to her special aunt, Ann Terry.

Jana was preceded in death by her father, Richard Wood; paternal grandparents, Essie and Howard Wood; maternal grandparents, Wanda Owens and William Anderson; and stepfather, Tom Loyd.

She is survived by her daughter, Miranda Rollins and husband, Cody; son, Travis Rollins and wife, Samantha; 4 grandchildren, Dalton Andrew and Konner Rollins, and Esme Collis; 4 brothers, Richard Wood of Chuckey, TN, Michael Steven Wood of Chuckey, TN, Ben Wood of Chuckey, TN and Bryant Wood and wife, Rená Taylor Wood of Wilmington, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
