Jane Billingsley Davidson
Jane Billingsley Davidson, 82, went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 14, 2008, in Louisville, Kentucky.
She was born March 3, 1926, in Daisy, Tennessee, to the late Carroll Brittain Billingsley and Madge Billingsley Huffman. Mrs. Davidson was a lifelong member of First Broad Street United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Davidson.
Surviving are two daughters, Dr. Martha Davidson Riggs James and Dr. Lisa Davidson Beihn Robert; one grandson, James A. Riggs Jr.; a sister, Nelda Sublett John W.; a niece, Carol Lizzi James; and a nephew, John W. Sublett, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Oak Memorial Park with Rev. Jack P. Weikel officiating. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
