Janette Hammond Seaver

Janette Seaver, 73, of Johnson City, passed away June 8, 2010 at Johnson City Medical Center.

Mrs. Seaver was born and raised in Arizona and lived the majority of her life in the Tri-City area. She ran the National Rent-A-Car Company at the Tri-City Regional Airport for 20 years. Janette was a member of Beta Sigma Pi Sorority.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis C. Seaver Sr.

Survivors include her sons, Louis C. Seaver Jr. and wife Kathleen of Houston TX, Thomas R. Seaver and wife Donna of Johnson City; seven grandchildren, Jackson B. Seaver, Meredith Mae Seaver, Elizabeth Maureen Seaver, Thomas Michael Seaver, Emily Katherine Seaver, Matthew Scott Seaver, Thomas Ryan Seaver; brother, Johnny Hammond and wife Dorothy of Edmond OK; and sister, Cheryl Macdonald of Manassas, VA.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2010, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport or any time at the home of Thomas R. Seaver; 18 Dove Tree Lane, Jonesborough, TN, 37659.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
