KELLER, TX - Janice K. Ferguson, 72, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at her home in Keller, Texas.
A native of Elizabethton, Janice lived the majority of her life in Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mozella Treadway of Valley Forge. Before moving to Texas three years ago, Janice attended First Christian Church in Johnson City and worked as a dental hygienist in Kingsport for over fifty years, working for Drs. Frank Buckles, Robert Hodge, and John Machen. She loved her patients and became close friends with many of them. Janice was a loving wife, mother, and recent grandmother who adored her three-year-old granddaughter, Alyssa. Janice will now be reunited with her late husband, Henry Ferguson, who passed away last year.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Rose Ferguson of Fort Worth, TX; and her granddaughter, Alyssa Rose Ferguson.
Visitation will be held from 12-2:00 pm on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home in Kingsport, TN with a graveside service to follow at Monte Vista Memorial Gardens in Johnson City at 3:00.
