Janice "Jan" Murray Roberts

Janice "Jan" Murray Roberts, 68, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, following a lengthy illness. A native of Kingsport, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Bessie Gardner Murray.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jody Roberts; granddaughter, Morgan White; sister, Jacquline Adams; and three brothers, Herbert, Verlin and Charles Murray.

Jan is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Bob Roberts of the home; son, Ricky Roberts of the home; five grandchildren, Cody Roberts, Dustin White, Kayla White, Casey Bullion and wife, Kari, and Dusty Dykes; seven great-grandchildren, Kadin White, Tegan White, Jordan Johnson, Cody Bullion, Aubree White, Serenity Bullion and Marigah Bullion; brother, Grover Murray; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport and at other times at the home, 2400 Little Valley Rd., Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Larry McAmis officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 pm at Mullins Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
