J. B. Whitlock, 89, Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 6, 2007.
He was a Member, Sunday School Teacher, and Deacon at First Baptist Church of Fall Branch. J. B. retired from Tennessee Eastman after 41 years of service.
Preceding him in death were his parents, George and Mary Whitlock; a sister, Anna Whitlock; and his wife, Georgia Ketron Whitlock.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Stapp Bill, Elizabeth Mastin Ben; two granddaughters, Kellie S. Roberts Jim, Karen S. Klosek J. P.; three great-grandchildren, Grant Ketron Roberts, Jessica Elaine Roberts, Stella Rose Klosek; and his faithful companion, Maggie.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Carl Strickler and Rev. Victor Wallace officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Fall Branch Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be friends and members of the Men?s Classes of First Baptist Church of Fall Branch.
