Jean Arnold

Wilma Jean Arnold, 88, of Kingsport, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and was a member of Ketron Memorial United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the choir. Jean had retired from Glidden Paint Co. but the job she truly loved was that as the secretary at Cedar Grove Elementary School. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Betty Testerman; husband, Charles W. Arnold; son, Charles “Chuck” Arnold; sister, V. Elizabeth King; and brothers, Leon Testerman and Clifford Testerman.

Wilma is survived by her daughter, Melissa Arnold; son, David Arnold; three grandchildren, Ashlee, Evan, and Alexis Arnold; and three great-grandchildren, Charlee, Taylor, and Porter Arnold.

The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2019, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Josh Swanson officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
