Jean B. Dubberly, 81, of Kingsport, died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Indian Path Medical Center.
She was born July 19, 1928 in Kingsport, TN, the daughter of the late Ethel and Walter Bevington. Jean was a graduate of the class of 1946 from Dobyns-Bennett High School and was employed by Grosset & Dunlap.
Mrs. Dubberly was a member of First Broad Street United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Russell Clayton Dubberly, Jr.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Mr. Russell Clayton Dubberly of Kingsport; two sons, John A. Dubberly of Nashville and Michael C. Dubberly and wife Mary of Hillsborough, NJ; one daughter, Terri Dubberly of Kingsport; and grandson, Michael Benjamin Dubberly of Hillsborough, NJ.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. The service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Jack Edwards officiating.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
