Jean B. Green

Jean B. Green, 76, of Kingsport, TN, went home Saturday, January 3, 2009, after an extended illness.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, and friend to all who knew her.

Her husband, Johnny Mack Green and parents, Della and Ike McCann preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, Lynn Green and fiancée Sheila Sims, Kingsport, TN; and Steven Green, Kingsport, TN; granddaughter Ashley Hughes and great-granddaughter, Jocelyn Hughes; special nephew, John Green, Kingsport, TN; great-nephew, Johnathon Green, Kingsport, TN.

Calling hours are 12 noon till 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport or any time at 3212 Isaac Street, Kingsport, TN.

Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Don McCann officiating.

Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers are Dale Gilliam, Larry "Stretch" Taylor, Charlie Green, John Green, Amann, and Danny Rock. Honorary pallbearers are family and Peace Makers Motorcycle Club.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Peace Makers Toy Christmas Fund, 801 Boozy Creek Rd., Blountville, TN 37617.
