Jean Pageau Wininger

Jean Pageau Wininger was born February 17, 1950, in Rochester, New Hampshire and passed peacefully in her sleep on Friday, August 9, 2024 in Kingsport, TN. 

She grew up in New Hampshire before moving to Fairfax, VA., where she met and married JD Wininger. Together they moved to Kingsport, TN where they lived for many years. 

She is predeceased by her husband, JD; parents, Rolland and Reta Pageau; and brother, James Pageau. 

She is survived by her sisters, Nancy (Les) Joy, and Joan and Mary Pageau; brother, John (Sheri) Pageau; stepdaughters, Amy (Richie) Leighton, Gina (Thomas) Hodges and Jill (Daniel) Winiger; and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. 

Jean's family would like to thank the caregivers at American House and the hospice nurses that took such good care of Jean.

A graveside service will take place at 3pm on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Daniel Winiger officiating. 

Pallbearers will be family members.
