Jean Wright Ingram, 80, left this earthly world to join her Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 28, 2017. Jean lived her entire life in Kingsport, TN. She was a long-time member of Sullivan Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Ingram; and brother, Zack Wright.
Jean is survived by her son, Dwight Ingram and wife, Tandy Ingram; three daughters, Rhonda Ingram, Beth Ingram, and Jeannine Couvertiere and husband, Ed Couvertiere; grandchildren include Bo Ingram, Nicole Couvertiere, Sean Couvertiere, Ethan Couvertiere, Jake Ingram, Brandi Crawford and her husband, Tony Crawford; great-grandchildren, Wiley Ingram and Ellie Crawford; and brother, Tilmer Wright.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, January 1, 2017, at Sullivan Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Strong officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2017, at East Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Sullivan Baptist Church Building Fund, 4152 Maplewood St, Kingsport, TN 37660.
The family wants to thank the caring staff of Preston Place II for their loving and compassionate care.
