Jeanette Horne Dove
Jeanette Horne Dove, 82, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord early Tuesday morning, March 1, 2011, at Wilcox Hall. Jeanette was born in Hawkins County and had resided in Kingsport for most of her life. She retired from Eastman after 35 years. Jeanette was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Frank and Bobbie Horne.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Dove, of the home; her sister, Ruby Horne Chappell of Elgin, SC; and brother, Kenneth Horne and his wife, Dana, of Rogersville, TN; six nieces and nephews, and ten great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 -8 p.m. Wednesday March 2, 2011 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral service will follow the visitation at 8 pm with Dr. Roy graves and Rev. Richard Ratliff officiating.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in East Lawn Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Mongold, Eugene Sager, Loy Faulk, and the Men's III Sunday School Class of Sunnyside Baptist Church.
