Jeff Nicksic
Jeff Nicksic, 26, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 19, 2010.
He was born in Johnson City, and had resided in Kingsport all of his life, graduating from Sullivan South High School in 2001. He was a member of St. Christopher Episcopal Church, and was owner of Misty Valley Landscaping and Lawn Care.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Henry Nicksic, and his maternal great-grandfather, Ellis Musick.
He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Madison Nicksic, of Kingsport; his parents, Brad and Cindy Nicksic, of Kingsport; brother, Phillip Sanders and fiancée, Shannon Shaffer, Fall Branch; maternal grandparents, Tom and Phyllis Breeding, of Kingsport, maternal great-grandmother, Virginia Musick, of Kingsport; paternal grandmother, Gwen Nicksic, Kingsport; mother of his daughter and girlfriend of 10 years, Linda Lemmons, Kingsport; a niece, Alyssa Sanders; nephew, Devon Sanders; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday 6:00 p.m. at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 584 Lebanon Road, Kingsport, with The Rev. Gene Smitherman and The Rev. Maargaret K. Zeller officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be all of his close friends.
