Jeffrey Philip Templeton, 40, Oak Ridge, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2009.
Jeff graduated from Sullivan South High School in 1987, where he starred as a defensive lineman on the football team. He went on to play football at ETSU where he received his degree in Environmental Science.
He was currently living in Oak Ridge, TN, where he was employed by Kelly Scientific of Knoxville.
Jeff is survived by his parents, Philip and Barbara Templeton; sisters, Teresa Marchetti Michael, and Traci Smith Todd; nieces, Anna Marchetti, Maddy Marchetti, and Olivia Smith; nephew, Miles Smith; maternal grandmother, Bertha Davis; uncles, Don Davis Ann, Paul Davis Wiladene, and Kermit Davis; aunt Diane Bear Leonard; and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be Monday, January 26th from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at St. Dominic Catholic Church. The funeral will immediately follow the visitation with Rev. Charles Burton officiating.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 28th at Calvary Cemetery in Nashville, TN.
In lieu of flowers, contributions, in the name of Jeff Templeton, may be made to St. Cecilia Academy, 4210 Harding Road, Nashville, TN 37205. Contributions will be used to help fund the construction of new athletic facilities on the campus where Jeff's nieces Anna, Maddy, Olivia and nephew Miles attend or have attended school.
