Jeffrey Scott Adams, 50, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 1, 2012, at 10 p.m.
A native of Kingsport, he has lived here all of his life. He attended Sullivan West High School. Jeff worked at Warrior's Path State Park as a greenskeeper. Due to a kidney and pancreas transplant, his health would not let him do what he wanted but he enjoyed his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Adams; brother, Brian Keith Adams; paternal grandparents, Rome Dell Adams & Iva Ann Adams; maternal grandparents, Coy Eager Lazenby & Thelma Faye Lazenby.
He is survived by his father, Marvin Adams & wife Leann; sister-in-law Amy Lynn Adams; nephew, Noah Benjamin Adams; niece, Ella; and several aunts & uncles.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. The funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. with Pastor J. W. Depew officiating. Music will be provided by Damon Depew.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Gary Vaughn, Buddy Gragg, Jojo Gragg, "Crash" David Jones, John Roberts and Patrick Roberts.
