Jennie Lou Lloyd Baker

Jennie Lou Lloyd Baker, 85, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2023. She taught Sunday School for 50+ years. Jennie loved to work in the yard with her garden; her favorite flowers being geraniums and day lilies. She was a graduate of Church Hill High School, class of 1955. After graduating, she went to work for Holston Valley as a secretary for a couple of years before leaving and going to work for W.B. Green Company.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reeser and Pearl Lloyd; four sisters; and one brother.

Jennie is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Lionel Baker; and son, Lionel Baker, II.

The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2023, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Tom Schoeneck officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
