Jennifer Jo Doyle Kiser, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and cherished friend, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on January 14, 2025, at the age of 54. Born on December 1, 1970, in Bristol, TN, she brought joy and warmth to everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
She attended Sullivan Central High School in Blountville, TN and was a member of the band playing her trumpet LOUD AND PROUD. She continued her education at ETSU and was a graduate of Northeast State Community College. She worked for several years as a switchboard operator at Bristol Regional Medical Center and worked the remainder of her career at United Healthcare. She was a beloved member of Anchor Church. Her hobbies and interest included family, friends, baking, crocheting, reading, and loving all her special fur babies. Whether she was caring for others, being goofy, going to watch her husband and son in theater, or spending time with her family or church family, she left an indelible mark on the hearts of those around her.
Her love for her family, friends fur babies, American Cancer Society, and Lamplight Theatre was only matched by her dedication to her love for making sure children were safe. She had a unique ability to make people laugh, and her loving nature will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Ricky Kiser, son Kai Kiser, Mommy Judy Ann Purcell Doyle, sister Jodi (Lassaad) brother Jimmy, Aunt Cathy Purcell Nickels, father-in-law Larry Kiser (Julie), sisters-in-law Judy (Mike), Amy, and Lori (Randall). Several nieces and nephews, a multitude of cousins and a special foster child to her, Braiden. Her family and countless friends and loved ones who will always treasure her memory.
She is preceded in death by her father, John Franklin Doyle, mother-in-law Frances Musser Kiser, maternal grandparents Joseph Wayne and Ruby Jane Sutherland Purcell. Paternal grandparents James Preston and Lena Ruth Roark Doyle, and her special fur baby Sebastian.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2025, in the Chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, 2630 Hwy. 75, Blountville, TN. A celebration of Jennifer's life will follow at 7:00 p.m., officiated by Bros. Terry Puckett and Justin Davidson. The graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park, Blountville, in the Garden of Prayer.
Pallbearers are David Woods, David Maloney, Gary Bumgarner, Sean Roberson, Randall Rife, Mike Barnes, Josh Edwards, and Brandon Harris. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Musser, Larry Musser, Earl Doyle and Remington Edwards.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your local animal shelter or Lamplight Theatre.
