Jennifer Lynn Parton

Jennifer Lynn Parton, 40, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 21, 2017. She was a 1995 graduate of Sullivan South High School and graduated from nursing school in 1997. Jennifer had been a nurse for 20 years. She was a member of New Life Free Will Baptist Church. Jennifer loved her children, family and the Lord more than anything.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph F. and Jeannette S. Morrison, and Henry A. Davis.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Greg Parton; daughters, Brittany (Evan) Jones and Alyssa Parton; granddaughter, Brynlie Jones; parents, Ron R. and Connie L. Morrison; brother, Ron R. Morrison, Jr. of Hendersonville, NC; and grandmother, Nancy L. Davis of Millsboro, DE.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12-2:00 pm at New Life Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Hal Calhoun officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ron Morrison, Jr., David Parton, Evan Jones, Rev. Terry Roberts, Mark Durnin and Mike Calhoun. Honorary pallbearers will be her co-workers at IPC.
