Jerry Lynn Berry, 58, Kingsport, TN, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at Johnson City Medical Center due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was a native of Kingsport and worked in the construction industry. Jerry was an avid fisherman. He attended Highland Freewill Baptist Church.
His father, Buddy Berry, maternal grandparents, and paternal grandparents preceded him in death.
Surviving are his daughter, Tracy Gibson, son, Jeff Berry, grandson, Blake, mother, Selma B. Berry, three sisters, Pam Berry, Kathy Berry, Gail Arnold and husband Steve, all of Kingsport, TN; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Rita Watts, Greenville, TN.
Calling hours are 5-7:00 p.m. Friday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home Kingsport.
Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Walters and Rev. Charles Spears officiating.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery in Jonesborough, TN.
Pallbearers are Jared Taylor, Steve Arnold, Jack Britt, Rev. Dennis Spears, Charlie Spears, and Tom Kiser.
