Jerry Dickerson

Jerry Allen Dickerson, 55, of Ducktown, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 22, 2008.

Jerry loved horses and farming and he enjoyed building horse drawn wagons. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Dickerson and a brother, Richard Dickerson.

Surviving are his loving wife and devoted caregiver, Vicky Dickerson; one daughter, Crystal Harris of Gray; two sons, Christopher Dickerson and Joe Dickerson, both of Limestone; three grandchildren, Courtney and Dalton Harris and Katelan Dickerson; his mother, Lorena Dickerson of Limestone; one sister, Judy Palmer of Jonesborough; two brothers, Norman Dickerson and Donnie Dickerson, both of Limestone; several nieces and nephews; special nieces , "Jerry's Girls", Carly, Rachel, and Kendall Phillips; mother-in-law, Frances Phillips of Kingsport; special friends, Sarah and Ashley Rector, Rachel Renfro, Brandi Crawford, Julie Phillips, and "Jerry's Cooks", Jane and Joe Luster.

The family extends a special thanks to Jim and Mike Rector.

Calling hours are from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch.

Services will follow at 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Fall Branch Chapel with Rev. Ken Gaskin, Pastor Richard Tittle, and Pastor Steve Davis officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Cherry Hill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Smith, Raymond Sayler, Terry Moore, Jerry Woodard, Craig Keys, Mike Baskett, Mike Rector, and Jim Rector.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Chase, Bobby Myers, Terry McMackin, Buddy Crane, Garrett Moore, Dale Fitzgerald, and Darrell Fitzgerald.
