Jerry A. Ketron

Jerry A. Ketron, 61, of Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord Sunday evening, June 15, 2008, at James H. Quillen V.A. Medical Center.

He was born in Kingsport and had resided most of his life in Fall Branch. Jerry was a U. S. Navy veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marce and Eloise Ketron, Sr; grandmother, Zona Alice Crawford; a sister, Betty Lou Burleson; and a brother, Don Lady.

Surviving are one son, Jerry Ketron Jr. of Fall Branch; two grandchildren, McKenzie Alise Ketron and Chloe Noel Ketron; one brother, Marce Ketron Jr. and wife Velma of Kingsport; a special nephew, Josh M. Keron; special friend, Elaine Ketron; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Fall Branch. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor J. W. Depew and E. B. Moore officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Lovelace Baptist Church Cemetery.
