Jerry Lynn Hensley

Jerry Lynn Hensley, 67, Fall Branch, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at his home unexpectedly. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam as a combat soldier serving with the 101st infantry Army Special Forces.

He was a lifetime member of the DAV.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Grace Hensley.

Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Donline Hensley, two daughters, Jennifer Brewer and husband Wesley, and Brandy Addison and husband Canaan; one son, Shannon Ball and wife Heather; nine grandchildren, Zach, Madison, Darin, Austin, Mariah, Ethin, Jerob, Obadiah, and Isaiah; sister, Linda Crawley, two brothers, Ronald Hensley and Gary Hensley and wife Eula; special father-in-law, Emory Miller, three brothers-in-law, Rickey, Greg, and Emory "Pokey" Miller, sister-in-law, Lesia Cutshall, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Brother Tony Peters officiating.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Lovelace Baptist Church Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the American Legion 3/265.

Pallbearers will be Chris Crawley, Kenny Higgins, Greg Miller, Jeremiah Smith, Zach Brewer, and Gary Hensley.

D. J. Banks will serve as honorary pallbearer.
