Jessica Leigh Gambrell Laughlin
Jessica Leigh Gambrell Laughlin, 24, passed away on Saturday, February 11, due to injuries sustained in a car accident.
She was a graduate of Science Hill High School and was attending Northeast State Community College. Jessica was employed at Light House Independent Living. She enjoyed working with special needs patients. She was a member of West View Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alan Gambrell; and paternal grandparents, Millard and Carrie Gambrell.
Jessica is survived by her mother and stepfather: Diana Castle Perry and Randy Perry; her adoptive father, Tim Laughlin; half-brother, Josh Gambrell; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Castle; very special loving aunts and uncles, Deborah Castle and Sherry and Joe Haynie, Jason Castle and wife, Michelle, Deb Brown and husband, Robert, Lynn Noe; other aunts, uncles, cousins and many loving friends; and her special pet dog, Zander.
The family will receive friends at Crossroads United Methodist Church on Tuesday February 14, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Randy Lantz officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 11:00 am at East Lawn Memorial Park.
