Jessie Norris Roberts

Jessie Norris Roberts, 81, Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 13, 2013, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Born in Greene County, he had resided most of his life in Fall Branch. Jessie had retired from the Washington County Highway Department.
Jessie was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Edna Roberts, Fall Branch; four sons, Sam Roberts and wife, Katy, Jonesborough, Jessie Roberts and wife, Barbara, Jonesborough, Jerry Roberts and wife, Barb, Fall Branch, and Ronnie Roberts and girlfriend, Jenny Sheets, Gray; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two great-great grandsons; sisters, Willie Roberts, Redhouse, VA, Laura Crawford, Kingsport, and Lora Carroll, Fall Branch; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 16, 2013, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Fall Branch, or any time at the home of his son, Jerry. The service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Hubbard officiating.
The graveside service will be on Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Glen Union Church Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
