Jessie Wild

Jessie Wild, 90, of Kingsport passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Holston Manor. She was a loving and caring Mamaw to all who met her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Wild; her grandson, Michael Wild, her parents, Charlie and Lassie Smith; three brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include: her son and his wife, Ronald and Janet Wild of King, NC; her daughter, Freda Hilliard of Kingsport; her grandchildren, Jeff and Rayna Hilliard of Kingsport, Jennifer and Mike Mayberry of Winston-Salem, NC, Rachel and Tim Smith of Athens, TN, Joshua Hilliard of Kingsport, Stephen and Sarah Wild of Elkin, NC; her brother, Hubert and Jean Smith of Asheville, NC; six great grandchildren, Cody, Brandi, Christi, Alyssa, Garrett, and Byron; and special friends, Mykey and Charity Dykes of Kingsport.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 pm Friday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingpsport. Funeral services will be at 1 pm Saturday April 10, 2010 at the funeral home with Pastor Eddie McAmis officiating. Burial will follow at Clark Cemetery in Del Rio, TN.

Her grandchildren and their spouses will serve as pallbearers. Nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
