Jimmy D. Chase, 75 of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at his home after a lengthy illness.
He lived most of his life in the Eastern Star Community. Jimmy was a veteran of the U.S. Military and will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Eileen Chase; brother, Donald Chase; and sisters. Margie Slagle and Ozena Carroll.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years and caregiver throughout his illness, Judy Chase; daughter, Sheri Miller and husband, Rob; son, Roger Chase and wife, Kim; grandsons, Steffen Chase and wife, Jessica, Connor Chase, Gannon Chase, and great-grandson, Griffin Chase; brother, Ronnie Chase and wife, Terri; sister-in-law, Lillian Chase; nieces, Joyce Stanfield and husband, Jackie, Kathy McKinley and husband, Jack, Delilah Kitts and husband, Michael; great-nieces, Hannah and Lauren Kitts, and Melissa Reed; great-great-nephew Boston Earl; and his special and favorite pets, Booey and Hobo.
A special thanks to all who cared for Jimmy at his home during his illness.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, Oct. 11th from 6pm to 8pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11am, Friday, Oct. 12th at Eastern Star Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Harold Morelock and T.J. Burding officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery prior to the service.
