Joann Byington, 67, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Friday, February 23, 2007, at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was a cosmetologist and dance instructor and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Tracy; a son, Dennis; a special friend, Regina Baker; and former sisters-in-law, Gladys Fletcher, Joyce Christian, and Barbara Akers.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Sullivan County Cemetery with Randy Jenkins officiating.
