Joann Garrett, 67, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 21, 2008, at her home.
Joann was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sybil Penley; and two brothers.
Surviving are her husband, Marvin H. Garrett, Sr.; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Perry and husband, Butch; two sons, Marvin H. Garrett, Jr. and wife, Tami, Mark Garrett and wife, Linda; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Frank Ray and wife, Lola; and several nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date.
