Joann H. Myers

Joann Myers passed away peacefully at home (May 17, 2020) after a brief illness.  Born in Scott County, she has lived in this area all her life.  She was a member of Doran Addition Free Will Baptist Church.  Joann enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mary Kate Honeycutt; first husband Robert Stapleton; second husband James Myers Jr.; infant son Randall Stapleton; brother Bob Honeycutt.

Joann is survived by her daughters, Debbie Cassell, Sue Corder and husband Jim  Lisa Dishner and husband Randy; grandchild Jessie Presnell and husband Matthew; stepsons Daniel Myers and wife Karen, Phillip Myers and wife Kim; five step grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; sisters Jane Marcum and husband Henry, Nancy Crook, Mattie Tirak and husband George, Gaye Renfro and husband Jim; brother Glenn Honeycutt and wife Cindy; several nieces and nephews; special friend Jimmie McGhee.

A graveside service will be conducted at Holston View Cemetery on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.
