Joe Cook
Joe Cook, 77, of Kingsport, passed away, Friday, June 26, 2015. Born in Swane Co., NC, he was the son of the late Clyde and Violet Woodard Cook.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Elaine Cook Ratliff.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mae Cook, of the home; daughter, Donna Salyer and husband, Russ of Kingsport; sons, Mike Cook and wife, Debra of Cleveland, TN, Ronnie Cook, Donnie Cook, Tommy Cook and wife Tracy, and David Cook, all of Kingsport; eleven grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
The graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 3, 2015, at East Lawn Memorial Park. Please meet at the cemetery by 1:45 pm.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Cook, Donnie Cook, Mike Cook, Quinton Millstid, Rodney Russell, and Lee Dockery.
The family would like to extend a Special Thank You to Barry Carr and Jim Carter.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sullivan County Humane Society, 2141 Idle Hour Rd., Kingsport, TN 37660.
