Joe Fred Johnson

Joe Fred Johnson, 76, of Kingsport, passed away Friday, August 28, 2009, at his home. He was born in Greene County, TN, and had resided most of his life in Kingsport. Joe was a self-employed auto mechanic and later on he enjoyed buying and selling used cars and trucksa€"especially Cadilllacs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe D. and Mary Edna Johnson.

Survivors include two sons, Joe Fred Johnson, Jr., of New Market, TN, and Michael Johnson of Richmond, IN; three sisters, Barbara Gardner, Doris Duncan, and Betty Johnson of Kingsport; two brothers, Bobby "Frog" Johnson and Don Johnson of Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service Sunday, August 30th, at 1 p.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Cameron Poe officiating.
