Joe Robert Steadman

Joe Robert Steadman, 67, of the Sullivan Gardens Community, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2018 after a brief illness. Joe was a graduate of Sullivan High School and the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture. He was also a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. His passion for all things agriculture and nature in general should be his legacy.

Preceding Joe in death were his parents, Bob and Geneva Steadman.

Joe is survived by his brothers, Jeff Steadman of Kingsport and Mark Steadman of Johnson City; special nephew and niece, John Steadman and Samantha Steadman of Johnson City; aunts, Elizabeth Steadman and Betty Harris; uncle, Paul Lucas; and several cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 10-11:00 a.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
