John E. Fry, 76, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011, at Wellmont Hospice House, Bristol, TN.
He is survived by his wife, Susie Fry; children, Mary, Jake Nancy, Bill Andrea, and Susan Fry Brian Woods; 3 step-children, Charles Hyder Penny, Renee Garber Geoff, and Rebecca Perry Chuck; 18 precious grandchildren; step-mother, Elaine Fry; brother, Robert Fry; sisters, Elizabeth Fry, Judy Lanfried; Step-sister, Susan Powell; and several nieces and nephews.
To his grandchildren, "Papa" was the "The Candy Man!"
The family wishes to thank his doctors, nurses, aides, therapists, Advanced Home Health and Wellmont Hospice for their excellent compassionate care.
Family graveside services were held at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in the name of John E. Fry, be made to Wellmont Hospice House, 280 Steeles Road, Bristol, TN 37620.
