John Moran

John Moran, 54, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 8, 2019, at Holston Valley Medical Center. John was formerly employed at Brock Industrial Services. He was a member of Glen Alpine United Methodist Church. John was an avid college football fan and also loved his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Faye and Helen Moran; and brother-in-law, Kenny Roller.

John is survived by his wife, Cheryl Moran; daughter, Nora Beth Moran; special dogs, Jake, Cookie, and Chloe; sister, Sharon May and husband Mike; mother and father-in-law, Sandy and Jim Roller; brother and sister-in-law, Pete and Laura Roller; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 11, 2019, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The memorial service will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Chris Brown officiating.
