John Rowland

John Rowland, 64, Kingsport, TN, went to be with The Lord on Sunday, August 30, 2015.

He retired from Rental Uniforms and was a veteran of the U. S. Army. John was an avid
WWE Wrestling fan.

His parents, Graham and Elva Rowland, two brothers, Roy and Tommy Rowland preceded him in death.

Surviving are one son, Brad Rowland, brother, Eddie Rowland and wife Elsie, best friend, George Blakely, special nieces and nephew and caregivers, Buffy Rowland and husband Brandon, and Lindsey Lucas.

Calling hours will be 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch.

Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Mike Hubbard officiating.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Poplar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Military graveside rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 3/265.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Rowland, Brad Rowland, Devon Rowland, Joe Bragg, Fred Vaughn, and Greg "Hoppy" Hopson. Honorary pallbearers are George Blakely, David Lucas, Duncan Smith, and Randy Light.
