Johnny Morrison

Johnny Morrison, 54, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 17, 2012 at his home. Johnny loved life, enjoyed gardening, all kinds of music, working on his Chevelle and was an excellent cook. He loved horses and his cars. Johnny also loved going to church and attended Deck Valley Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Linda Morrison.

Johnny is survived by his sister, Becky Flanary and husband, Wesley of Jonesborough; brothers, Dave Morrison and wife, Donna of Blountville, and Tim Morrison and wife, Jennifer of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews; and special friend and neighbor, Jerry Foulk.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 23rd from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 24th at 12:00 pm at Mount Carmel Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Bell and Rev. Malcolm Shelton officiating.

Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Morrison, Kevin Hawkins, Josh Morrison, Robert Young, Kermit Morrison, Howard Morrison, Wesley Flanary and John McNew.
