Dr Amato, was one of the firs chiropractors to welcome me and my family to the Tri City area. I remember him and Kathy welcoming my wife and I into their home for a meal. Later playing pool with Dr Amato and Dr Ed Peeks. My with Dawn and I will miss Dr Amato. Love and prayers for the Amato family.

So sad to hear of Dr. Amato's passing. I have know him for over 30 years. We talked about cars, chess, & family. He was a soft spoken, upstanding, enlightening, & inspiring man. So glad I got to know him a bit.

Drink 6-8 glasses of water daily. ;)

I just learned of Dr. Amato's passing and am deeply saddened. I considered him more than just my chiropractor but my friend. I met him 35 years ago when I was only 12 years old. I had recently been diagnosed with severe scoliosis and my parents were trying to search for answers and help. We had been seen by Shriners Hospital who advised surgery and told us that if I chose not to have it, then I'd be in a wheel chair by the time I was in my 30's. I never had the surgery. I'm 47 and I'm not in a wheelchair. I believe with all my heart that Dr. Amato helped me avoid that outcome. I seen him every month. He watched me grow up, and became my friend. I now have grandchildren that he was treating for scoliosis as well. Thankfully, we caught theirs early and their curves are not bad at all. At my appointments we would discuss my family and his. He talked so much about his grandchildren. He loved his family very much. He always smiled when talking of them. I will miss him dearly.

My mother, Betsy Harrison, was cared for by Dr Amato for many years long ago. If she was here today, she would be saying thank you!

Clay and I are just shocked. I took him a cake in August for his Birthday. He has been our chiropractor for 30 years. And Clay and his Mom has known him longer. We loved and respected him so much. Sending prayers to the family. RIP Joe.
