Joseph Richard Houston

Joseph Richard Houston, 70, of Blountville, passed away Monday, February 14, 2011.

He was born in the Detroit, MI and served in the US Army. Joseph retired from the Ford Motor Company.

Survivors include his wife, Bertha Houston; daughters, Mary Ann Walls, Tammy Marie Boutilier and husband, Greg; sons, William Houston, John Joseph Houston; grandchildren, Bobbie Walls III, Michael Houston, William Houston, David Walls, Joseph Houston III, Samuel Houston, Cody Boutilier, Jessica Walls, Angel Boutilier, Brittany May Houston; great-grandson, Christopher Lee Walls; sister, Lois Bloxson; brothers, Robert Houston and Fredrick Houston.

The funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at his residence, 160 Holston Institute Drive, Blountville, TN with Pastor Charles Brooks officiating. Visitation will follow. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Posts #3/265.
