Joshua Allen Calhoun, our precious son, 27, of Kingsport, left us unexpectedly Friday, March 14, 2008.
Josh was a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School, was a student at Northeast State, and was currently working at Pals.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, who loved him dearly, William Paul Ward.
Surviving are his parents, Robert and Sabrina Calhoun; his precious son, Quinton Josh loved him dearly, a son, Gavin Commerford; a brother, Justin Calhoun and fiancée Melinda Tate; nephews, Conner and Chandler; niece, Myra; paternal grandmother, Christine Calhoun; maternal grandparents, June and Fred Ellis; uncles, Allen Ward and wife Sandy, Kenneth Calhoun and wife Gina, Donnie Ward; aunts, Debbie Simpson and husband Robert, Linda Greene and husband John, Margie Oaks and husband Terry; many cousins; and special friends, Michael Wilder and Sam Lebair, all of Kingsport.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Musick officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at North Fork Cemetery in Rogersville. Pallbearers will be Robert Simpson, John Greene, David Crumley, Michael Wilder, Sam Lebair, and Chris Oaks.
