Joyce Ann Williams

Joyce Ann Williams, 70, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 12, 2018. Born in Greene County and raised in the Oak Glen Community. She attended Fall Branch High School. Joyce loved Fun Fest, yard sales and gardening. Joyce was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Roberts; and father, Orge Ryans.

Joyce is survived by husband and best friend, Donald Vermillion; her children, Patricia Williams Scalf and husband, Tex, Randy Williams and wife, Karen, Larry Williams and Donna Light and husband, Bobby; grandchildren, Jessica, Krisha, Channing and wife, Kelsey, Brandon, Justin, Jeremy, and Brittany; great-grandchildren, Sakura and Andryk; siblings, James Roberts, Barbara Peck, Steve Roberts, Tony Roberts and Roy Roberts; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center and Wexford House.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm Monday, April 16, 2018 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 7:00pm with Rev. Jimmy Darnell and Rev. James Harris officiating.

There will be a committal service at 1:00pm Tuesday April 17, 2018 at Oak Glen Union Cemetery. Family will serve as pallbearers.
