Joyce Ann Hamilton, 76, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 23, 2020, at home. She was born January 8, 1944, in Richland Parish, Louisiana, to the late Lonnie and Mittie Ann Scroggins. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and “Granny”. Her granddaughter, three great-grandchildren, and three children were her life. Joyce was a Christian. She attended church until she was unable.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Fred Scroggins, Vernon Scroggins, Herbert Scroggins; and sisters, Wille Mae Puckett and Oma Louise Diffee.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Anthony “Tony” Hamilton, daughters, Tina Fink, Paula Hannon Bryant; son, Greg Hannon and wife Rita, and Nakeisha Collins; granddaughter, Danielle Henry, great-grandsons, Izaiah and Laken Bailey, and Noah Henry; sisters, Juanita Ford, Virginia Bean, Betty Parsons, Wilma (Wayne) Davis, brother, Jack Scroggins; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Victor Wells, Kevin Hamilton, Laken Bailey, Izaiah Bailey, Ken Faulk, Reggie Strickland, and Tim Paris.
A private family graveside will be at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2020, at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Kenny Adkins officiating.
