Juanita Crawford, Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Wellmont Hospice House following an extended illness.
A native of Greene County, she had resided in the Oak Glen community most of her life. Mrs. Crawford was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Oak Glen Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Noah and Ruth Roberts; daughter, Joan Hicks; brother, Ray Roberts; and three sisters, Ozetta Charlton, Bertha Hite, and Unita "Bill" Morrison.
Surviving are her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Bill H. Crawford; one son, Gale Crawford and wife Carol; three grandchildren, Bradley Gardner and wife April, Evan Crawford and wife Leslie, and Laurn Crawford; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch.
Services will follow at 7 p.m. Friday at the Fall Branch Chapel with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Oak Glen Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bradley Gardner, Evan Crawford, John Crawford Jr., Kermit Crawford, Charles Crawford, and Jerry Crawford.
