Juanita Pauline Hawk Moody

Juanita Pauline Hawk Moody, 81, of Kingsport went to be with her Lord on Sunday November 21, 2010.

She was a lifetime resident of Sullivan County. Pauline was a homemaker and a member of Gunnings Baptist Church. She was a very special loving Christian wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Bill Moody, parents Vern and Mary Hawk, stepmother Blanche Hawk, brothers Bobby Hawk and Buddy Hawk, sister Gail Christian and special sister in Christ, Trula Moody.

Survivors include three sons: Gary Moody and wife Phoebe of Franklin, TN., Michael Moody and wife Sherry of Kingsport, Richard Moody and wife Lucy of Blountville; six grandchildren: Lee Moody, Paul Moody, Christina Frazier and husband Andy, Matthew Moody and wife Candace, Mary Moody and Rachel Moody; one great-grandson Caden Moody; one step great-granddaughter Caitlyn Frazier; four sisters: Betty Barnette and husband Bill of Johnson City, Charlotte Vicars and husband Otis of Kingsport, June Hammonds of Brookhaven, MS. and Katie Hall and husband Virgil of Kingsport along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Gunnings Baptist Church, beside Central High School. Services will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob Ferguson officiating.

Graveside service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers are: Lee Moody, Paul Moody, Matthew Moody, Ray Moody, Jr., Spencer Moody, Jerry Moody and Harvey Moody.
