Juanita Redman, 72, of Kingsport, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church. Juanita retired from Indian Path Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud "Sam" Redman; her parents, Collie and Stella King; and her niece, Heather King Fansler.
Juanita is survived by her daughter, Donna Nunley and husband, Dennis of Kingsport; son, Michael Hale and wife, Lisa of Kingsport; grandchildren, Dustin Nunley, Danielle Nunley and Mattie Hale; three stepchildren, Kim Lampkins, Foy Redmond and Randy Redmond; several step-grandchildren; two sisters, Imogene Rogers and husband, Orville Edward Rogers of Kingsport, and Velma "Bam" Derting and husband, Ronald of Hilton, VA; two brothers, Wayne King and wife, Barbara of Kingsport, and Lester King and Inez of Morristown; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and special caregivers, Connie Glover and Janice Dillow.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 8th from 4-7:00pm at Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church and at anytime at the home. Funeral services will follow with Rev. Todd Jennings, Rev. Orville Edward Rogers and Rev. Jerry Hensley officiating. Music will be provided by The Heavenly Reflections and Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church Choir.
Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 9th at 2:00 pm at East Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Frank Lawson, Dennis Nunley, Dustin Nunley, Danielle Nunley, Brandon Derting and Todd Jennings.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church.
