Juanita Lynne Simpson-McLain, born September 12, 1960 passed away after a short illness on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at the home of her parents with her loving family by her side.
She was preceded in death by her son, BJ McLain in September 2003 and "big brother" Jimmy Ball in January 2011.
Survivors include her husband, Benny McLain of the home; daughter, Nikki Lynne McLain of the home; parents, Tip and Kate Simpson of Kingsport; sisters, Margaret Stallard and husband, Lee of Kingsport; Susan Frazier of Elizabethton; brothers, Louis D. Simpson and wife, Lisa of Louisville, KY, Joe A. Simpson and girlfriend, Brenda of Kingsport; grandchildren, Harley Arnold, Ozzy Arnold, Waylon Webb, Jayda Kate Webb; mother-in-law, Helen Tipton; special friends, "Big Sis" Alyce Bush and Alicia Arnold; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
The family will receive friends anytime at her parents' home, 1371 Ridgecrest Ave., Kingsport and from 4-7 pm on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The service will begin at 7 pm with Rev. Ed McLain officiating. Music will be provided by Bill and Chip McLain.
An inurnment service will be conducted at 11 am on Friday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
Pallbearers are Johnny Ball, Phillip Wilcox, Jessie Bishop, Wayne Webb, Danny Ward, Russell Cavin, Micky Morelock and Kevin Webb. Honorary pallbearers are Nathan Poe, Daniel Cradic, Jeremy White and Joey White.
